Step 1: A double cleanse is carried out to remove any make up and dirt from the skin. Dermaquest Essential cleanser is used to remove make up and then Dermaclear cleanser – ideal for all stages of acne, exfoliate and digest dead skin cells, while soothing an irritated skin.

Step 2: Skin is prepped using a Salicylic prep solution to break through oil on the skin. Clients may experience a mild tingling on the skin for approx 30 seconds after application.

Step 3: Application of Modified Jessner Peel – reduce inflammation, kills P acne bacteria and clears out pores to enable your skin to breathe. Hydrate and even out skin texture. There may be a warm tingle felt on the skin for approximately 2 minutes after application. The product is left on the skin to self neutralize after 5 minutes. We can do up to three passes with this depending to skin type / reaction.

Step 4: Application of SkinBrite solution formulated with Azelaic and Kojic Acid to help even skin tone and treat hyperpigmentation.

Step 5: Application of 4% Retinol Solution – supports skin cell regeneration while improving skin tone and texture.

Step 6: Protect the skin using Dermaquest SheerZinc SPF 30. A soothing and healing SPF that will protect all skin types, including sensitive and acne prone skin, and is also suitable to be used post treatment to give instant SPF protection without adding any moisture to the skin.

Directly after treatment the skin will be flushed with a slight redness which could last a couple of hours. Your skin will become slightly dry and tight over the first couple of days, creating a light flake which could last up to 3-4 days, before returning to normal.

We have a number of treatment programmes available depending on skin type.
